2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes §5-515.02  Purchase of lottery tickets or shares by minors or persons under twenty‑one years of age; penalty

A. Until June 1, 2003, it is unlawful for a person under eighteen years of age to purchase a lottery ticket or share. Beginning on June 1, 2003, it is unlawful for a person under twenty-one years of age to purchase a lottery ticket or share.

B. Until June 1, 2003, a person under eighteen years of age who knowingly purchases a lottery ticket or share is guilty of a petty offense. Beginning on June 1, 2003, it is unlawful for a person under twenty-one years of age to purchase a lottery ticket or share.
