2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes §44-134  Capacity of minor for blood donation

Notwithstanding any other provision of the law, a minor who is otherwise competent and has reached the age of eighteen years may give consent to the donation of his blood and to the penetration of tissue necessary to accomplish such donation, at a federally approved blood bank. Such consent shall not be subject to disaffirmance because of minority. The consent of the parent or parents of such a minor shall not be required in order to authorize such donation and such penetration of tissue.
