2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes §41-601 Definitions
In this article, unless the context otherwise requires:
1. "Commission" means the Arizona veterans' service advisory commission.
2. "Department" means the department of veterans' services.
3. "Director" means the director of the department of veterans' services.
4. "Veteran" means a citizen of the United States who was regularly enlisted, drafted, inducted or commissioned and who was accepted for and assigned to active duty in the armed forces of the United States.
