2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes §32-3428  Limited permit

A. The board may grant a limited permit to a person who has not taken the licensure examination if that person was trained in this country and has completed the academic and fieldwork requirements of this chapter.

B. The board may grant a limited permit to a foreign-trained person who has completed the academic and fieldwork requirements of this chapter if that person has not taken the licensure examination and submits proof of acceptance to take the licensure examination.

C. The holder of a limited permit may practice occupational therapy only under the direct supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.

D. A limited permit is valid for four months and becomes void if a person fails the examination. The limited permit expires if a person passes the examination and is issued a license under section 32-3425, subsection C.

E. The board may reissue a limited permit once.
