2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes §32-2238  Violations; classification

A. A person is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor who:

1. Practices veterinary medicine or surgery under an assumed name.

2. Falsely impersonates another practitioner.

3. Fraudulently obtains a veterinary medical diploma, license or record of registration.

4. Practices veterinary medicine or surgery without a license and registration.

5. Unlawfully assumes or advertises a veterinary title conveying the impression that the person is a lawful practitioner.

6. Knowingly violates any other provision of this chapter.

B. This chapter shall not be construed to prohibit a person from practicing veterinary medicine or any of its branches in partnership with another practitioner, or under a partnership or firm name, if the partnership or firm is clearly identified as that of a practicing veterinarian, and if all members of the partnership or firm are licensed to practice veterinary medicine by the board.
