2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes §32-1633  Examination of professional nurses

A. An applicant shall pass an examination in subjects relating to the duties and services of a registered nurse taught in an approved professional nursing program as the board determines.

B. If an applicant successfully passes the examination and meets the other requirements set forth in this chapter, the board shall issue a license to practice professional nursing to the applicant.

C. If an applicant fails the examination prescribed in subsection A four times, the board may require the applicant to complete additional educational requirements established by the board in its rules before taking the examination again.
