2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes §28-7704 Department powers
A. The department may:
1. Continue to charge tolls for the use of a transportation facility constructed by a private entity pursuant to section 28-7701 after the lease of the facility to the private entity expires.
2. Exercise any power granted to it pursuant to this title to facilitate the development and construction of transportation facilities pursuant to this article.
B. In administering and enforcing this article, the director may conduct investigations and audits as the director deems necessary.
