2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes §23-901.07  Handicapped persons in vocational training; definition

A. Notwithstanding section 23-901, a qualified client of a nonprofit organization which provides vocational training to handicapped persons is an employee of the nonprofit organization for the purposes of this chapter if the nonprofit organization elects to have the qualified client treated as an employee.

B. In this section "qualified client" means a handicapped person who is enrolled in a vocational training program with a nonprofit organization, who works as part of this program for the nonprofit organization or for another person under a contract with the nonprofit corporation and who receives compensation for the work from the nonprofit organization.
