Section 8-19-13Defense. Any person against whom any civil action or proceeding is brought pursuant to this chapter shall have a defense to such action or proceeding upon a showing by a preponderance of the evidence presented that such person did not knowingly commit any act or knowingly engage in any activity which constitutes a violation of any provision of this chapter.
