Section 45-2-61.07Hospital and medical records. While conducting a coroner's investigation of a death hereunder, the Baldwin County Coroner or a state medical examiner or the director of the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences is authorized to issue subpoenas for the production of pertinent medical records, radiographs, and biological tissues and fluids as may be required by his or her investigation to determine the cause and manner of death.
