Section 29-7-2Director. The Legislative Reference Service shall be under the supervision, direction, and control of an officer designated as the Director of the Legislative Reference Service. The director shall be appointed by the Legislative Council provided for in Chapter 6 of this title at a salary determined by the Legislative Council, payable as the salaries of other state employees.
