Section 25-8-52Routine inspections of business establishments. The department shall have the right to enter, without prior notice or warrant, any business establishment for the purpose of routine inspections. These visits shall be conducted as frequently as needed to insure that minors are employed in compliance with this chapter. The department shall enforce this chapter and may assess civil penalties or institute criminal prosecution for any violation of this chapter.
