Section 25-13-15Installation, service, maintenance of conveyances. It shall be the responsibility of individuals, firms, or corporations licensed by this chapter to ensure that installation and/or service and maintenance of elevators and devices described in Section 25-13-1 are performed in compliance with the provisions contained in the state fire prevention and building codes and with generally accepted standards referenced in the code.
