Section 16-11-20Grading and standardization of city schools; courses of study. The city board of education, subject to the provisions of this title, shall grade and standardize all the schools under its jurisdiction, and shall also prescribe courses of study. Printed copies of the courses of study shall be supplied to every teacher and to every interested citizen in said city.
