Section 16-11-15School buses - Operation; school board members not personally liable. If such bus or buses are purchased, said city board of education is hereby authorized to expend funds for the operation and maintenance of such bus or buses and to provide for the necessary personnel to operate and maintain the same. The members of such board of education shall not be personally liable in damages for injury to riders or third persons or property resulting from the operation of such bus or buses.
