Article 7 - Domestic Violence in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Degrees.
Section 13A-6-133 - Arrest without warrant - Generally.
For the purposes of an arrest without a warrant pursuant to Section 15-10-3, the crimes of domestic violence in the first, second, and third degrees, and domestic violence by strangulation or suffocation shall be an offense involving domestic violence. A warrantless arrest for an offense involving domestic violence made pursuant to subdivision (8) of subsection (a) of Section 15-10-3, shall include a charge of a crime of domestic violence under this article.(Act 2000-266, p. 411, §4; Act 2011-581, p. 1273, §1.)
