Section 11-99A-5Validity of petition to form or amend district. No petition for the formation of a district with the requisite signatures shall be declared void on account of defects. The council of the appointing government, at any time, may permit the petition to be amended to conform to the facts or this chapter by correcting any errors in the description of the territory or in any other particular.
