Section 9-15-80Certain persons prohibited from bidding on or purchasing property. Officers and employees of the department selling or leasing the real property and officers and employees of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, as well as members of their families, shall be excluded from bidding on the property at a public auction or by sealed bids. Other officers or employees of the state shall not be excluded from bidding on or purchasing the real property at public sale or sealed bid.
