Section 8-9-4Sufficiency of note of contract - Return or report of officer making judicial sale. When lands, tenements, or hereditaments are sold at judicial sale, the return or report of the officer making the sale, showing the names of the parties to the action or proceeding, a description of the property, the price at which it was sold, and the name of the purchaser is a note of the contract within the meaning of Section 8-9-2.
