Section 2-17-38Construction of chapter. The provisions of this chapter are cumulative with and shall not be construed as to repeal or supersede Sections 20-1-2, 20-1-20, 20-1-21, 20-1-22, 20-1-25, and 20-1-27. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of this chapter and Sections 22-2-2 or 22-3-2, the provisions of this chapter shall control.
