Section 11-99A-10Annexation incidental to formation of district. The petition for the formation of a district by a municipality may include land that is not within the corporate limits of the municipality provided that the land is, taken as a whole, contiguous with land within the corporate limits of the municipality. In such a case, upon the formation of the district, all land within the districts shall become automatically annexed into and a part of the municipality.
