Section 11-61A-22Advertising and award laws are applicable. Laws, regulations, and ordinances relating to the advertising and award of construction contracts and purchase contracts made by or in behalf of the authorizing subdivision shall be applicable to any authority granted permission to incorporate by the authorizing subdivision. Nothing herein shall exempt the authorities from laws relating to surety bond requirements for such contracts.
