Section 35-4-343Vendor's lien, etc. Nothing in this article shall prevent any literary society, social society, Young Men's Christian Association or Young Women's Christian Association from retaining a vendor's lien on the property conveyed, nor from taking a mortgage to secure the balance of the purchase money nor from making an agreement as to the payment of the purchase money and the conditions of the sale.
