Section 35-11-452Priority of lien. All mortgages, other liens recorded prior to the recording of the broker's lien provided by this division, all purchase money mortgages, and all liens for ad valorem taxes shall have priority over the broker's lien provided by this division. Knowledge by mortgagee or other lienholder of the existence or possible existence of an unrecorded broker's lien shall not affect the priority of the mortgage or other lien.
