Section 35-11-216Verified statement - Indorsement by probate judge; recordation; fee. The judge of probate shall indorse on such statement the date of its filing, and shall record the same in a book kept for that purpose, which shall be properly labeled and indexed, and note thereon the date of filing; for all of which he shall receive $.15 per 100 words, which shall be secured to the party filing the statement by such lien.
