Section 2-19-41Maintenance of record book as to purchases, etc., by persons trafficking in seed cotton - Exceptions. The provisions of Section 2-19-40 shall not apply to the purchase of seed cotton sold under process of law or in satisfaction of a landlord's lien, in the collection of his rents, advances or mortgages previously given on the cotton sold, nor to ginners who purchase seed cotton from their customers delivered to their gins.
