Section 12-17-81.1Prior service credit. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, for the purpose of determining the salary of any circuit clerk pursuant to Section 12-17-81, years of service under Section 12-17-81 shall include any prior service credit purchased toward supernumerary status as a circuit clerk pursuant to Section 12-17-144.1.
