Section 6-5-185Libel or slander - Mitigation of damages - When only actual damages recoverable. In an action of slander or libel, if a retraction as provided in Section 6-5-184 shall be published in such medium within 10 days of the date of the publication, then the plaintiff in such case shall recover only actual damages.
