Section 40-12-400Penalty for violations of article. Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than two thousand dollars ($2,000), or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than 30 nor more than 90 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
