Section 31-12-8Annual or sick leave. Any public employee covered under Section 31-12-7 who was required to use annual or sick leave as a result of being called to active service in any of the Armed Forces of the United States during the war on terrorism which commenced in September 2001, as determined by the Adjutant General of the Alabama National Guard, shall have their leave restored.
