Section 30-3A-905Applicability. (a) Any proceeding filed prior to January 1, 1998, shall be governed by the laws in effect at the time of the commencement of the proceeding.
(b) Any proceeding under subsection (a) shall be governed by this chapter after December 31, 1999.
