Section 30-3A-306Inappropriate court. If a petition or comparable pleading is received by an inappropriate court or agency of this state, it shall forward the pleading and accompanying documents to an appropriate court in this state or tribunal of another state, if known, and notify the petitioner where and when the pleading was sent.
