Section 22-6-26Health department functions and responsibilities. This article shall in no way supersede, replace or affect the licensing and certification responsibilities or other regulatory functions of the Health Department. All health care facilities licensing authority shall remain the responsibility of the Department of Public Health upon and after May 9, 1989.
