Section 22-19-28Carriers for conveyance of bodies; receipts for bodies. The said board may employ a carrier or carriers for the conveyance of said bodies, which shall be enclosed in a suitable encasement and carefully deposited free from public observation. Said carrier or carriers shall obtain receipts by name or, if the person be unknown, by a description for such body delivered by him and shall deposit said receipts with the secretary of said board, who shall record and preserve the same.
