Section 16-25-84Construction of article. This article is supplemental. It shall be construed in pari materia with other laws regulating and providing for the payment of retirement benefits to certain retired members of the Teachers' Retirement System and certain retired members of the Employees' Retirement System. Notwithstanding the foregoing, those laws or parts of laws which are in direct conflict with this article are repealed.
