Section 11-67B-3Establishment of procedures; costs of removal. Any Class 5 municipality to which this chapter applies may establish a procedure for the abatement and removal of inoperable motor vehicles from private property as public nuisances. Costs of removal may be assessed against the registered owner of the vehicle if the identity of the owner can be determined or the costs may be assessed against the owner of the property on which the vehicle is stored.
