Section 11-50-394Board of directors - Organization; officers. Promptly after their appointment, the members of the board of directors shall meet to organize. At such meeting and at the first meeting in each year thereafter, the members of the board shall choose from their number a president. They shall also choose a secretary and a treasurer who may but need not be members of the board.
