Section 11-44-51Maintenance of record books by probate judges and compensation therefor. The judges of probate of the counties in which are located cities or towns covered by this article shall record in a well-bound book, kept for that purpose, all papers required to be filed with them under the terms of this article and shall receive therefor the compensation allowed by law for recording deeds.
