Section 11-44-30Assignment or delegation of powers and duties of board of commissioners. The board of commissioners may assign or delegate to one or more of its members or to such boards, commissioners, officers, or employees as may be created or selected by it the performance of such executive and judicial duties and powers as may be necessary or convenient; provided the same is done by resolution, bylaw, or ordinance duly enacted according to the terms of this article and according to the laws of Alabama.
