Section 11-15-16Conveyance of property to corporation by county. The county is hereby authorized to convey to the corporation, with or without the payment of monetary consideration therefor, any property that may be owned by the county whether or not such property is necessary for the conduct of the public functions of the county; provided, that such conveyance shall be authorized by a resolution duly adopted by the governing body prior to the conveyance.
