Section 34-7A-23Teacher's permit. The board may issue a teacher's permit to any person licensed to practice in any field related to cosmetology, skin care, or manicuring. Before a permit is issued, the licensee shall apply to the board, pay the applicable fee, and provide proof of qualifications. A teacher's permit entitles the holder to teach theory only in the field in which he or she is licensed to practice.
