Section 19-3-39Compromise or sale of bad debts. Upon the application of the trustee, the court may authorize the compromise of any bad and doubtful debts or choses in action belonging to the trust estate, or the sale thereof to the highest bidder, on such terms and notice as the court may prescribe.
