To qualify for the insurance premium reduction described in Section 27-13-120, the motor vehicle accident prevention course shall be sponsored by the National Safety Council, the American Automobile Association, or the American Association of Retired Persons or shall be an equivalent program approved by the Department of Public Safety. The program shall consist of not less than eight classroom hours of instruction, the instructors for the program shall be certified by the sponsoring entity, and the contents of the course shall be outlined by the sponsoring entity.
