2006 Alabama Code - Section 32-6-133 — Specifications for design of motor vehicle tags.
The design of motor vehicle tags for disabled veterans shall be as follows:
(1) The tag shall be the standard size.
(2) The left half of the tag shall be colored red with the words "DISABLED VETERAN" printed in capital letters.
(3) The right side shall be blue with the number prescribed by the State Department of Revenue imprinted thereon.
(4) The motto "HEART OF DIXIE" shall be located conveniently on the top of the tag.
(5) On the bottom portion of the tag shall appear the word, "ALABAMA".
(6) Any additional regulations or design specifications needed to implement the provisions of this section shall be prescribed by the Commissioner of Revenue.
