The State of Texas, Appellee FROM THE DISTRICT COURT OF TRAVIS COUNTY, 403RD JUDICIAL DISTRICT NO. 3032462, HONORABLE DONALD LEONARD, JUDGE PRESIDING MEMORANDUM OPINION Timothy Franks seeks to appeal from a judgment of conviction for murder. Sentence was imposed on August 5, 2005. There was no motion for new trial. The deadline for perfecting appeal was therefore September 6, 2005. Tex. R. App. P. 4.1(a), 26.2(a)(1).
