DENY and Opinion Filed October 15, 2021 In The Court of Appeals Fifth District of Texas at Dallas No. 05-21-00227-CV IN RE KRISTIE LYNN SHEAR, Relator Original Proceeding from the County Court at Law No. 2 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. CC-19-03062-B MEMORANDUM OPINION Before Justices Osborne, Pedersen, III, and Goldstein Opinion by Justice Osborne In this original proceeding, relator challenges the trial court’s discovery orders denying her insurance files for other accidents and imposing $3,955.00 in sanctions. Entitlement to mandamus relief requires relator to show that the trial court clearly abused its discretion and that she lacks an adequate appellate remedy. In re Prudential Ins. Co., 148 S.W.3d 124, 135–36 (Tex. 2004) (orig. proceeding). Based on our review of the petition, response, reply, and the record, we conclude that relator has failed to show her entitlement to the relief requested. Accordingly, we deny the petition for writ of mandamus. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(a). We also lift the stay issued by this Court’s April 9, 2021 order. 210227f.p05 /Leslie Osborne/ LESLIE OSBORNE JUSTICE –2–
