Welch v. GeorgiaAnnotate this Case
Appellant Kevin Welch was convicted of malice murder in connection with the 2009 shooting death of Alex Howard. He appealed, asserting among other things, that the trial court erred in refusing to strike two jurors for cause. Although the Supreme Court found Welch's enumerated errors to be without merit, the Court did find error with regard to the sentence. Accordingly, the Court vacated and remanded this case back to the trial court for resentencing.
