Aikens v. GeorgiaAnnotate this Case
Maurice Aikens was tried by jury and convicted of murder and several other crimes in connection with the fatal shooting of Kyle Moore. Aikens appealed, arguing: (1) that the evidence was insufficient to sustain one of his convictions; (2) that the trial court erred when it responded to a question
submitted by the jury; and (3) that he received ineffective assistance of counsel. Finding no error, the Supreme Court affirmed.
