Lamar v. GeorgiaAnnotate this Case
After a jury trial, Kevin Lamar was found guilty of murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon with regard to the 2009 murder of Rickey McCrae. Lamar was also found guilty of the aggravated assault of Marc Williams. Lamar appealed, contending among other things, that the evidence was insufficient to support the verdict and that he received ineffective assistance of counsel. Finding no reversible error, the Supreme Court affirmed.
