Rodriguez-Nova v. GeorgiaAnnotate this Case
Andres Rodriguez-Nova was tried by jury and convicted of murder and false imprisonment, both in connection with the death of his girlfriend, Elba Mejia-Mesa. Rodriguez-Nova appealed, contending that the trial court erred with respect to both an evidentiary ruling and its instructions to the jury. He also argued he was denied the effective assistance of counsel. Upon its review of the record and briefs, the Supreme Court saw no error, and affirmed.
